Be More than a Surveyor

We're looking for someone who's a surveyor and a bit of an entrepreneur. Someone who gets excited by big picture thinking, innovative applications for new technology, and the possibilities that could come from contributing to the growth of a dynamic company.

Our Company

Over the last few years we've built a company that we're truly proud of - a place where we believe that work and play should feel like the same thing (in a professional sense, of course)... you can tell by the way we've designed our office.

We've also decided to not label ourselves just as surveyors, and think of ourselves more as 3D data specialists with surveying backgrounds. After-all, 3D data very much seems to be the way the industry is trending.

Our way of approaching challenges and our ability to deliver projects in outstanding detail using drones, 3D scanners, and more traditional equipment has led our little company to working closely with giants like Amazon, Marks & Spencer, Galiford Try, and the NHS. We also have great relationships with some of Scotland's most exciting construction firms.

Where You Fit

Culture is our single biggest consideration when inviting someone to join our team. We need enthusiasm and good energy. Once that box is ticked, we'll spend time chatting about your skills.

Skill-wise, we want those that join our team to have good survey experience, preferably in using Trimble technology, and to have an open and forward-thinking mindset. We operate using a number of CAD packages and it would be great if you are skilled in using AutoCAD and Trimble software as a minimum.

Structure of the Role

Our roles start with a probationary period that lasts 4 months but that's just to enable us to be sure that you're the right candidate for us and we're the right team for you. As we've said, building a well-balanced culture is incredibly important to us.

Once you've completed your probation, we'll take things from there but the hope is that you'll be joining us for the long-run!

We're a young company (in terms of when we were established) but are working hard to bring our team great benefits. For example, take your birthday off. No questions, no loosing a day from your holiday allowance... just bring in the cake when you get back to the office.

Show us Your Skills

For the role, it's important to us that you can demonstrate:

1) Good communication skills and enthusiasm toward helping a company to grow,
2) Experience in using CAD packages, particularly AutoCAD. Revit is a massive plus,
3) A developed understanding of survey and surveying techniques,
4) A qualification in land survey / engineering would be advantageous but is not critical to the role provided the above can be demonstrated,

5) That you are willing to work with and report directly to our clients where necessary,
) Full UK drivers license and their own car.
